Grandmother's Stories
As a young one, there was nothing I enjoyed more than hearing my Grandma's narratives. She had a tone like warm molasses and her gaze would shine with happiness as she told her adventures.
Sometimes, her tales were about animals and fantasy places. Other times, they were about everyday things like baking or attending the market. But no matter what the topic was, her stories always had a way of transporting to another world.
And especially when she talked about tough times, there was always a truth to be learned. Grandma's stories weren't just amusing, they were also informative and uplifting.
